Thracian | Ktisti | Ktisti were men who were perceived as holy for living without women. This is particularly striking for thracians because they were polygamous. Menander puts it: "All Thracians, especially us and the Getae, are not much abstaining, because no one takes less than ten, eleven, twelve wives, some even more.
